Different, that is, in the sense that, unlike
almost everything else on this site, I had no part in the
creation of the things in this section This is intended to
provide a "guest room" for other creative people to make use of,
since I have the space available on this Web site to make that
possible (and if you feel like you would like to contribute
anything that you've created which would be appropriate here,
please contact me about it). The initial contents of this area
are two books written by Ralph Monterosso, whom I recently had
the pleasure of meeting for the first time in person (after
exchanging e-mail with him for some time before that) at my
daughter Carrie's wedding. The groom for this occasion was John
Monterosso, Ralph's son, whom I had met several times before, and
grown to like, I believe, almost as much as Carrie does. One of
the good things (of many) about the wedding was discovering how
well we got along, right from the first, with John's parents,
Ralph and Suzanne, since that doesn't always happen that quickly
with future in-laws. One thing that came up in our conversations
was the books that Ralph had written, and he gave us a copy of
one of them. It occurred to me that I could make them available
to a (slightly) larger audience by using some of the extra space
on this Web site to "publish" them electronically, since they
have not yet been published in the conventional form. So here
they are for you to read, and I'm glad that I was able to help
make them available.
