50 Best Short Hikes in Yosemite and Sequoia/Kings Canyon (A
good guide to day hikes in all 3 parks, but his idea of a "short"
hike might be a little longer than yours)
- Emigrant Wilderness and Northwestern Yosemite (a little out of date, but the only good guide I know of to this beautiful area)
- Carson-Iceberg Wilderness (a good guide to another beautiful, and mostly uncongested, Sierra wilderness area-- also, unfortunately, out of date for some areas which have changed since it was printed)
- Exploring the Southern Sierra: East Side
- Exploring the Southern Sierra: West Side (Excellent guides to many activities in the area south of Sequoia National Park-- another beautiful and uncrowded area)
- Adventure Guide to Puerto Rico (includes a section on the island of Culebra, where we welcomed the year 2000)
- Emigrant Wilderness and Northwestern Yosemite (a little out of date, but the only good guide I know of to this beautiful area)
